Frequently Asked Questions
1
Who do you work with?Â
Mythlight Sites creates clear, welcoming websites and marketing tools for small businesses, solopreneurs, churches, yoga and wellness studios, artists, makers, and new nonprofits.
Â
My services are especially well suited to small organizations that need a professional online presence without an unnecessarily complicated website.
2
Will my website be completely custom designed?
Your website will begin with a carefully selected professional template, which I will customize with your colors, typography, imagery, content, and page structure.
Â
This approach keeps the project affordable while still creating a website that feels distinctive and appropriate for your organization.
3
Will the website work on phones and tablets?
Yes. Every Mythlight website is designed and tested to work across common desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes.
4
How long will it take to get my site and/or email package?
Speed to launch largely depends on you! I can work fairly quickly once I have your copy and photos, and later, feedback.
Â
For a basic site package, expect 1-2 months. If I am providing full copywriting with interviews and photography, expect 3-5 months depending on revisions.Â
Â
See the sample timeline here for the steps involved in each package.Â
5
I already own a domain/ Canva account/ website template/ etc. Can we use those?
Absolutely, as long as they fit with the platforms I work with. These are Wix, WordPress, Canva, Adobe, most domain hosts and most email marketing platforms.Â
6
How are platform payments (hosting, email, etc) handled?
Domain name, site hosting, email marketing, integrations, and other services as needed are paid directly by you.
Â
This ensures a smooth hand-off and continuation of service, and helps you take advantage of first-time user pricing.

I’ll help you make appropriate selections before the project begins and set up the accounts as necessary.
7
What is a round of revisions?
A revision round is one consolidated list of requested changes submitted after a project presentation.
Â
The Basic Website includes one revision round, while the Complete Website includes two. Additional revisions, new features, or changes to previously approved work can be added for an additional fee.
8
What do you need from me during the project?
You’ll need to provide timely access to your accounts, existing brand materials, requested content, and consolidated feedback.
Â
You’ll also identify one primary decision-maker who can approve the work on behalf of your business or organization.
9
Can we work together if I’m not located near you?
We can. The entire project can be completed remotely, except the optional photography session.Â

In that case, we'd coordinate with a local photographer if needed.
